I don’t want to walk

Down this dark lonely road.

With blustery winds

And flesh stinging rain.

Listlessly drifting,

Beneath dark cloudy skies,

Ghostly shadows and all else therein.

For ‘tis the road that leads nowhere

On a dark stormy night,

Except, ever deeper,

Amid the mists of times,

And lonesome dreams.
